Well, so far so good. Ever since I decided to start blogging again on January 4th, I’ve been watching the numbers begin to rise again. Obviously, if you’re not posting to your blog, your traffic is going to drop to a trickle. If you blog, they will come, or something like that.
Since January 4th, I’ve published 41 posts (and have one or two more unfinished), and the blog has been visited 704 times, with 427 unique visitors out of that. Granted, some may be folks checking from phones and then their work/home machines/iPads, but for this site, those numbers are the largest since September 2009 when it comes to visits. It’s not much, compared to my heyday in 2004, when stats showed around 2,500-3,000 visits a day, but I’m pleased with the renewed interest in my natterings.
Considering my visits in December were a mere 276, obviously it’s an improvement.
Very happy to see your posts showing up in my newsreader again!
And looking forward to listening to the 2-2-08 7SM.
Hey, glad to see you around here, Steve!
Hi Scott! I’ve been subscribed through RSS forever. Do those help?
I’m enjoying the little blurbs. Very manageable
They do help.
And hey there!
2500 a day? 150 a day is good for my blog nowadays.
40 is a banner day for me now. I could probably push much higher again if I really gave a shit.
