That was certainly fun. The Seven Story Mountain was beautifully trippy, the Head rocked hard, Buddy Cage sitting in on For Love was fantastic, the Railroad Earth was sublime… and as always, My Sisters and Brothers was perfection.

Openers are New Riders of the Purple Sage. A different type of show, as it’s seated, plus there’s a firm 11 PM curfew. Nevertheless, the show will be a blast. Tomorrow night we have the band for a much longer show at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe PA.

That’s a photo I snapped back in 2005 in the Catskills. What looks to be a tunnel in the distance is actually greenery. I’ve oversaturated the image for the blog here, to keep it looking like the image that was in the header to begin with. I like how it turned out, to be honest.
